The Company's conception of ESG and the status of its ESG initiatives

CRESCO recognizes that ESG (environmental, social, and corporate governance) issues signify "what the society expects of companies" that companies should be aware of in the context of socially responsible investing (SRI) advocated by the United Nations.
In addition, to achieve sustainable growth as a company and increase its own corporate value, we believe it is necessary to constantly think about what a company can do for society in relation to ESG, and to continue to act.

When CRESCO was founded, the corporate mission was to "make the greatest possible contribution to the happiness of people around the world through the growth of our corporate activities, and to bring joy and pride to the people who work there and to maximize their abilities." The source of corporate activity is the collection of skills of each and every employee, and the constant self-improvement to improve technical capabilities, and to actively and boldly take on challenges. In doing so, we consider how to realize the "alignment of individual goals and the goals of the company" and we created our founding philosophy, the CRESCO Charter, based on a spirit of "the elimination of discrimination other than ability from the standpoint that all people are equal to create a technology-oriented, bright and lively company and open management that seeks out a world-wide stage on which to play an active part." The Charter still remains the point of departure for CRESCO's corporate activities.

The CRESCO Charter
  • CRESCO is a company with a focus on people and a merit-based philosophy.
  • CRESCO is a company characterized by freedom, youth and dreams.
  • CRESCO is a company that demonstrates the most sophisticated technology.
  • CRESCO is a company where each person participates in running the business.
  • CRESCO is a company that is a citizen of the world.

System development, which is CRESCO's principal line of business, leads to increases in customer operational efficiency and value added by them and ultimately contributes to social (S) factors including 'work style reform' and a reduction in environmental (E) load.
In additional, embedded software directly affects environmental (E) conservation as it is used in consumer products such as automobiles and home electronic appliances.
These are considered to be precisely CRESCO's social mission, existence value, and reason for existence itself. With this recognition, we introduce CRESCO's "ESG initiatives as a company."
